These are a few of the words used to describe Gail Fly. She is a woman of God that loves the Lord with her whole heart and whose passion is to see God's people tap into the next dimension of worship.
Her debut album, "Who Will Worship?” released in 2007, was awarded the 2009 Rhythm of Gospel Awards’ “Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year” and was also nominated "Praise & Worship Album of the Year". To God be the Glory!
The single, “In the Presence of the Lord” of Gail’s sophomore project (Nov 2011) received the following 2011 Rhythm of Gospel nominations: “Worship & Praise Artist of the Year”, “Rhythm of Gospel Artist of the Year”, “Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year” and “Praise and Worship Song of the Year”.
Gail believes we are in a season of Manifestation for the people of God. In her own words, "Things we have waited for, prayed, hoped and believed God for are about to be released to us; as we have waited with much patience, continuing in the things of God, still trusting, having faith and knowing without a shadow of a doubt that God shall do everything He promised!"
A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Gail is the second of three children born to Odell & Doris Vickers Sr. She is the wife of Associate Pastor Albert E. Fly, Sr. Together, they have one son, Albert E. Fly, Jr. Gail believes her first ministry is to her family and then to others. Gail and her husband serve faithfully under the leadership of Pastor Barbara Rogers, Founder and Overseer of One Way Deliverance Ministries in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Raised in the Church of God in Christ, Gail's parents were sure to give her a spiritual foundation in holiness that has carried her through many tests and struggles in her life; most profoundly, the devastation of the City of New Orleans by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Today, Gail's testimony is most assuredly and without wavering in her faith, “God can do anything!”
Gail is a graduate of the University of New Orleans where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a Concentration in Human Resources. Gail is President of Raising the Standard Music, LLC. She is also co-founded F&L Professional Services, a consulting service providing technical assistance to small businesses in the areas of Human Resources and Financial Services.
